Teams that have qualified for the 2018/19 Champions League
With Europe’s top leagues now over the teams that will compete in the 2018/19 Champions League have been decided.
Liverpool and Real Madrid have already qualified by finishing fourth and third respectively in their domestic leagues, meaning the winners spot is handed down to the 11th ranked association which in this case will be Viktoria Plzen from the Czech Republic.
They will be joined by the top four clubs from La Liga, the Premier League, the Bundesliga and Serie A.
The top two in the French and Russian leagues will also go through automatically, while the Champions of Portugal, Ukraine, Belgium and Turkey will also battle it out in the group stages.
Atletico Madrid finished second in La Liga, while also winning the Europa League. As a result, their spot is handed to the third-placed team in the association ranked 5th, French side Lyon.
The final six group stage berths will be decided by a qualification, featuring the likes of PSV, Young Boys, Red Bull Salzburg, Celtic, The New Saints, Crusaders and Cork City.
Here are the sides that have qualified automatically for the 2018/19 Champions League group stages.
Spain: Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Valencia
Germany: Bayern Munich, Schalke, Hoffenheim, Borussia Dortmund
England: Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool
Italy: Juventus, Napoli, Roma, Inter
France: Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco, Lyon
Russia: Lokomotiv Moscow, CSKA Moscow
Portugal: Porto
Ukraine: Shakhtar Donetsk
Belgium: Club Brugge
Turkey: Galatasaray
Czech Republic: Viktoria Plzen
