Tiger Roll Gains Fourth Cheltenham Victory

I am sure there were a few pints downed last night as punters relished the more predictable results yesterday. The big trainers turned up and some Cheltenham legends did the business again.

Paul Nicholls got his first winner of the week with Topofthegame winning a great RSA chase. The Henderson / De Boinville combination struck in quick succession with William Henry and the unstoppable Altoir. That win taking is unbeaten tally to a remarkable 18 races.

It was last years winning trainer Gordon Elliot however that for me got his week rolling. Was it ever in doubt for Tiger Roll? It was our NAP of the week as predicted here on SPORTSvox. He was never really in danger and the Cheltenham specialist once again looked in cruise control coming up the hill.

There was also another win for jockey Mark Walsh aboard City Island and favourite Band of Outlaws took the Fred Winter. It should be another cracking day of racing on Wednesday and bookies will be looking for some upsets to get their week back on track.
