Tyson Fury to face cruiserweight in comeback fight
Tyson Fury’s two-and-a-half-year exile from the ring will officially end on June 9 when he takes on 39-year-old Swiss-based Albanian Sefer Seferi.
Fury’s opponent comes with the nickname of the ‘Albanian Fury’ and despite a record of 23-1, Seferi will be moving up from cruiserweight and not expected to pose a threat to the former heavyweight champion.
Fury’s last fight was back in November 2015 when he stunned Wladimir Klitschko in Düsseldorf to win the WBA, IBF, WBO, The Ring and Linea heavyweight titles over a 12-round points decision.

A year later Fury was forced to give up his belts due to an investigation on anti-doping. The former champion was also diagnosed at the time with mental health issues.
While away from the sport the heavyweight division has certainly captured the imagination with Joshua and Wilder leading the way, enough of an incentive to bring Fury back into the picture.
Fury has lost around seven stone in weight and determined to return to the top of the heavyweight division over the next year.
His comeback journey begins at the Manchester Arena on June 9.
