Jacobsen Seals Top Leaderboard Points
Maximum Leaderboard Points For Jacobsen
Monday 25th of September saw the 2nd event of the Enteractive Race to Spain. 43 players took their chances on the revised 18 hole course whilst the changes are being completed.
This was a 100% Individual Event were players could play at any time during the day. Aside from prizes on the day, players were able to earn points towards the end of Season Tour Championship.
Under Par Enough Secure Victory
The revised set up and subsequent shot reductions certainly led to higher scoring over the summer months. It was Thomas Jacobsen who mastered the course the best however with 38 points on the day. This was enough to win by 2 from Steve Dodd, who secured his first points of the season in second place. Completing the top 3 was newcomer Pierre Verlaine with 35 points on count back from James Lynam.
Enteractive Long Drive Contests
This is proving to be one of the most fought out prizes during each competition. You can feel the rivalries developing, especially between our two winners on the day.
On the 4th Hole Josh ‘Guns’ Cornwall-Walker showed us the way once again and his adversary Adam Sanders took down the prize on the 15th Hole.
Nearest The Pin Competition
The 16th was a new contest for the group and probably favoured the lower handicap players. The prize sponsored by Apcopay was won by Peter Ekmark.
The 17th sponsored by Pentasia was won by Peter Canaki.
Takomo Golf Birdie Bonanza
A new edition to our plethora of prize opportunities this year is being very well received by the players. With the revised course giving players a chance to Birdie or Eagle the 18th twice we saw some hot competition. With 7 players managing to earn themselves 10 euro’s by making a Birdie only one player managed it twice. Congratulations go to Martin Johansson who managed to make a Birdie on both occasions. Unfortunately nobody made the elusive Eagle.
Action now moves on to the second Major of the season Enteractive Open on the 17th of October.
